Fukunari KIMURA has been Professor, Faculty of Economics, Keio University, Tokyo, Japan since 2000 and Chief Economist, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Jakarta, Indonesia since 2008.
He received his Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo in 1982 and M.S. and Ph.D. from the Department of Economics, University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990 and 1991.
He worked for the Department of Economics, State University of New York at Albany as Assistant Professor in 1991-1994, and the Faculty of Economics, Keio University as Associate Professor in 1994-2000.
He served as President, Japan Society of International Economics in 2010-2012, Representative Director, Tokyo Center for Economic Research in 2012-2014, and Dean, Graduate School of Economics, Keio University in 2015-2017.
He majors in international trade and development economics. He has been active in academic/semi-academic writing on production networks, economic integration, and the digital economy in East Asia.

Mr. Watanabe joined the foreign ministry in 1994. Prior to the current position, he served as Minister-Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in the United States (2016-2019), Director of Ocean Division in International Legal Affairs Bureau (2015-2016), and Director of Terrorism Prevention Division in Consular Affairs Bureau (2013-2015).

Dr. RONG Ying, Vice President and Senior Research Fellow. He had previously served as Deputy Director for South Asian, Middle Eastern and African Studies, Director for International Exchange, Director for International Strategic Studies, and Director for American Studies at CIIS from 1999 to 2008. He was Vice President of CIIS from2008 to2011.
From 1993 to 1997, he served at the Chinese Embassy in the United Republic of Tanzania as Third Secretary and as Minister-Councilor at the Chinese Embassy in Japan from 2011 to 2016.
Dr. Rong got his MA in English from Beijing Normal University and his PhD from Peking University. He was a visiting scholar at the Bush School for Government and Public Service, Texas A & M University, U.S. from April to October 2000.

Yingluk Kongkasai is a well experienced banker with more than 30 years in financial services industry. She is now Head of Transaction Banking at Bank of Ayudhya overseeing digital payment, liquidity management and international trade for corporate clients. In addition to her responsibilities in the Bank, she is a core working group of the Thai Bankers Association in driving trade digitization with the focus in duplicate finance prevention. She is also a focal contact point for Thailand ASEAN Business Advisory Council for regional connectivity in digital trade, and a core working member for Thailand National Digital Trade Platform (NDTP).
Prior to joining Bank of Ayudhya in 2005, Yingluk served as Relationship Manager for corporate and financial institutions in both local and international banks.
Yingluk obtained a Master of Business Administration from Oregon States University, USA, and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Accounting with an emphasis in Banking and Finance from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand .
She also attended many overseas work- based trainings such as International Trade for Overseas Correspondent Banks with Bayerische Hypo-und Veriensbank AG, Germany, and Advanced Management Program for Overseas Bankers at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of Indonesia
Dr. Rudy Salahuddin is Deputy Minister for Digital Economy, Manpower and SMEs, Coordinating of Ministry for Economic Affairs of Indonesia.
He formerly served as Deputy Minister for Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Cooperative & SMEs Competitiveness, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. Prior to working with the Ministry,
Dr. Rudy was a Director for Infrastructure Investment Planning at Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
He holds a D.Sc. and M.A. in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering from the George Washington University, and B.A. in Civil Engineering from University of Indonesia.
Director of ASEAN Connectivity
Mr Lim Chze Cheen is Director of the ASEAN Connectivity Division under the Office of the Secretary-General at the ASEAN Secretariat. He coordinated the development of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025 and its preceding document.
Prior to assuming this position, he was Assistant Director of the Strategic Planning and Coordination Division, which managed the overall reporting of progress of ASEAN Community as well as the development of ASEAN cooperation programmes and projects. He earlier served as Assistant Director handling ASEAN Economic Community coordination, particularly the development and monitoring of the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2015, and Senior Officer handling Trade in Services.
Before joining the ASEAN Secretariat in 2005, Mr Lim was a Senior Research Officer at the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER), specialising in macroeconomics and industrial studies.
